Description

The other day, my closet rack collapsed. And as I was picking up all my clothes from the floor, finding a new place to hang everything, I noticed I actually no longer needed most of the things that had been weighing on the closet rack. Had I gotten rid of them or moved them when they stopped serving their purpose, the closet probably wouldn't have broken down.

So the lesson I share today is that it might be time to take inventory of the things in your life and get rid of what is no longer serving you... to avoid a total breakdown or collapse or burnout. Things like mindsets, habits, relationships, and yes, even material possessions. I point out three distinct categories of things that you should eliminate:

  1. Things you have outgrown or that no longer fit you.
  2. Things that are not right for the current season.
  3. Things that were never yours to carry in the first place.
