Today in Acts 23, we witness a deadly plot to kill Paul but more importantly, we see how God’s hand is at work behind the scenes.
God positions Paul right where He wants him not as a setback, but as a setup to share the gospel during his trial before powerful leaders. God protects Paul through an unlikely source his young nephew who exposes the assassination plot. And God provides by using Roman soldiers to escort Paul safely to Caesarea, even securing him a place to stay in the governor’s palace.
This chapter reminds us that even in the face of danger, God is always working through people, circumstances, and even our enemies to fulfill His purpose. When we walk in God’s plan, He will faithfully position us, protect us, and provide for us every step of the way.
