If youve been around Christianity long, you've heard this name debated. Who was he, really? An earthly king that stood as an Old Testament type of Christ? Or was he a Christophany or Theophany (God revealing himself in the Old Testament in physical form)?
The theories abound. Jews have a couple- Christians have a couple more- even the Mormans have a highly developed doctrine based on this Biblical character.
