For this week's episode we welcome our friend Chris Shaffer, the chief meteorologist for WCCO TV in the Twin Cities. We worked with Chris back in our radio days when he was a radio DJ before he made the jump to TV. When we came up with the idea for this episode we immediately thought of Chris as a guest host. When you're talking about Natural Disaster Movies, who better to have join you then a TV meteorologist! Who also happens to have appeared in a Hollywood blockbuster himself!
Americans love an epic, big budget, edge of the seat disaster movie. Going back to the beginning of motion pictures we've loved watching people on the big screen overcome some kind of peril, and Hollywood has delivered some pretty amazing examples.
Our movie choices span more than 75 years! Between the three of us we have some obvious choices and a couple that WILL surprise you! Grab your popcorn, hop in comfortable chair and buckle up for a wild ride!
