A well provides a life-giving supply of water and digging one is a costly, emotional act of faith that clear water runs below the layers and layers of dirt. But a well is about more than water. It’s the symbol of a thriving life.
In Pastor Shawn’s message, “Dig Again,” he speaks on Genesis 26:12–33 where Isaac must dig out his father’s wells which were filled in by his enemy. Are there any wells you need to dig out again? Our enemy, Satan wants nothing more than for your life to be dry, muddy, and weak; sapped of the living water of Jesus. He will do anything to stop up your wells with greed, lust, brokenness, and bitterness. But with God’s help, we can dig again. We can clear the dirt from our wells and find clear water once more.
