The Military and Academia, two institutions tasked with building up and educating the nation, have decided that excellence is just too hard to achieve these days so they have instead lowered their entrance requirements because too many people were simply unqualified for admission based on the normal criteria.
Beyond the humor of watching this train wreck unfold, there is a serious consequence of embracing mediocracy on society as a whole.
