D.R.E.A.M.S. Foundation of Acadiana was the furthest thing from Donielle and Brian Watkins's mind when they were pregnant with their first child. At birth, their son Logan was diagnosed with Spina Bifida, a birth defect in which a baby’s spinal cord fails to develop properly. Despite being a paraplegic, Logan desired to do anything and everything that other kids did. The D.R.E.A.M.S. Foundation of Acadiana, a non-profit organization, was incorporated in 2007 to aid families and individuals with special needs flourish in society. Listen to how one special child and one extraordinary father took an unexpected burden and allowed God to transform it into a blessing for their family and community.
