Description

Christopher Coburn comes from a non-Indigenous family and has called Montana home for generations. He's currently renting through the unaffordable housing explosion, works multiple jobs, and has been directly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. In short, he's just like all of us that call Bozeman home, but with one big difference… In April, Christopher was appointed to Bozeman's City Commission. A position that someone his age and background rarely, if ever, find themselves in. In just five months Christopher has advanced the conversation on diversity, provided full funding for Bozeman’s public transit system, and has allocated $500,000 to those of us still impacted by the pandemic.

Christopher sits down with AUIDEO to talk through Bozeman's housing crisis, taxation, the worker shortage, Gallatin Valley's fight against climate change, and his innovative campaign.
