Description

The AUIDEO Show is joined by the up-and-coming country music sensation, Ian Munsick! Ian takes time out of his busy schedule to talk to us about how growing up in Sheridan, Wyoming, and beginning his music career as a country music artist!

Ian is a pretty relatable guy when you talk to him. Between him sharing some fun stories, his infectious smile and laugh makes him that much more of a personable guy. Growing up in Sheridan, WY, Ian was exposed to a lot of the ‘small town’ elements similar to Montana. His father exposed him and his brothers early on to music, with piano being the first instrument he learned in Kindergarten. According to Ian, one of the pros about being from Wyoming was the small town support that he received while starting his music career in the family band, The Munsick Boys. He quickly found an avenue to relate to his fanbase by singing about the rural, country-cowboy life. While chatting with Ian, we also found out that he’s got a few ties to the city of Bozeman - between visiting family, getting brunch at Jam!, his brother went to MSU, and he even got married to his wife in Paradise Valley!

Fast forward to now, Ian’s fanbase is growing at a fast pace - living in Nashville where he has a bigger outlet to find musicians to not only play with, but to find ones that will challenge him to improve his craft. It has been paying off in a huge way, as he currently has over one million listeners on Spotify (3/17). He release his first self titled EP in 2017, now on to his latest 2021 album release, titled Coyote Cry.

Country music fan or not, you’re going to want to check out Ian Munsick’s music wherever you get your stream on. You’ll be glad you did.
