The AUIDEO Show is joined by filmmaker Nnamdi Kanaga this Friday! Nnamdi is a very unique individual with a passion for telling deep, life changing stories. We met Nnamdi the week of promoting his first film he directed, produced, and starred in, titled The Hail Mary.
Nnamdi had to overcome many different obstacles and hurdles in order to make his project come to fruition, but if you’ve talked with him, you know he’s not a guy that gives up easily. With well over seventeen rough drafts, Nnamdi was able to hone in his craft and style to give us his first directorial debut. Originally from Lagos, Nigeria, Nnamdi talks to us about how he incorporated his life experiences into his filmmaking process, and he also broke down how he put his movie together, including finding an all black cast, shooting locations, story writing, and the difficulties that come with filming his own scenes. All that and more makes this twenty-five year old guy such an incredible interview!
