We all know of different holidays celebrated at the end of the year, but most don’t know what they are truly about, or how they are celebrated. In this first episode of the Cultural Conversations series, Brittany and Heather talk to Danitzia of The Momtessori Life about her multicultural family celebrations. Danitzia shares how they celebrate Dia de Los Muertos and Diwali respectively with her young family.

Danitzia Singh has been working as a Montessori teacher for about 14 years. She has had her own Montessori preschool for nearly seven years—for as long as her daughter has been alive! She previously worked part-time as a Montessori preschool teacher while getting her degree at Sacramento State University, before moving on to the Department of Education. She is married with two children, and lives in Elk Grove, CA. Her family loves exploring the Sacramento area as a family and sharing tips and suggestions on the best ways to enjoy the amazing, growing community.
