Mark Farner has a new album, Closer To My Home, coming out on November 8, 2024. We are pleased to have Mark join RadioBypass once again to discuss this amazing new record. We cannot wait for everyone the world over to hear this one! Mark Slaughter of Slaughter fame was a huge participant on this album, including being co-producer along with Mark Farner. Mark and I discuss how he and Mark Slaughter came to work together. When we first got to hear the new album, our initial thoughts were that this album is full of amazing songs, incredible performances, and was a very heartfelt, very personal album for Mark. We talk about that, and you will find out if he agrees with that assessment! In addition to ten new songs on the CD version, there is also a 55th Anniversary Re-Recording of I'm Your Captain (Closer To Home) that sounds absolutely stunning.
