086: Evan Dougoud and the BeHeard Movement
Evan Dougoud had to couch surf as a teenager and relied on the kindness of friends, teachers, and a grandmother to help him finish high school in his native Virginia. Today, with the help of supporters who have said “yes” to his prayers, Evan founded the BeHeard Movement in Tulsa to help the homeless find dignity and confidence from a hot shower brought to their neighborhood on wheels.
The BeHeard movement is being both seen and heard about. On this episode of the Spirit of Leading podcast, BeHeard Movement founder tells his story of helping the homeless by providing the simple things in life.
