Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer bekleidete seit 2000 mehrere Ministerämter im Saarland, seit 2011 ist sie Landesvorsitzende der CDU Saar und Ministerpräsidentin des Saarlands. Seit 2015 ist sie auch Präsidentin des Deutschen Volkshochschul-Verbandes.
