On this weeks episode A.J. sits down with friend, solo artist, and musician Otan Vargas. Otan talks about what is was like growing up in a town in the Philippines called Tondo Manila, then moving to the US. He talks about, his father, his organization Tondo Hungry Hearts, and how when he moved to America he discovered Youtube, then started uploading videos of himself playing songs that eventually caught the attention of Staind lead vocalist Aaron Lewis. Otan talks about what it was like meeting Aaron for the first time, and having him as a friend and mentor, to playing shows with Corey Taylor (Slipknot/Stone Sour), Adam Gontier (Saint Asonia ?formerly of 3 days Grace), Mike Mushok (Staind/ Saint Asonia), Shaun Morgan (Seether) and more! He talks about writing and recording his three albums, including "Origins" which was recorded by Staind bassist John April, and playing benefit shows for Aaron Lewis and former New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox player Johnny Damon.
