A question we often get asked in the Huddle is about how to have a good meeting with a physician. What studies should you bring? How do you explain pelvic PT? How do you ask for referrals?
In this episode, we try to turn the traditional method of marketing to physicians upside down.
We strongly believe in approaching physicians as equals. We are the musculoskeletal experts and have just as much to bring to a conversation. We don't need to be buying lunches or begging for referrals or bringing reams of paper to 'justify' what we do.
This episode dives into how to use the same skills we've developed with our patients - connecting with them, finding common ground, and open communication - to have the best physician meeting you've ever had.
