When she started Emily was completely burned out. Only a year and a half into her clinical practice she realized she didn't have energy to do anything. She's so open and courageous about her struggles with anxiety and depression as a pelvic PT.
She took a look at herself and her boundaries and began embracing her intuitive approach to healthcare. Emily realized she was holding onto the energy of her patients. Eventually she realized how she could use her empathic sense to benefit her patients while holding onto her own boundaries.
Emily uprooted herself, decided she wanted to live and set roots in Portland, Maine. She started her practice and is growing Pelvic Wisdom in a totally new community!
