With so many choices, finding the right con-ed course can be overwhelming. And for every course you take, it means you can't take something else. So how do you progress?
Do you simply go though a full series with Herman & Wallace or the APTA? Try online courses? Find something from your favorite instructor, or take something because it's close to you?
In this podcast, we go over how Nicole teaches our staff and those she mentors which courses to take. We discuss how to find the right course, how to incorporate what you learn with what you already know, and why you should never take a course just for con-ed credit.
We developed the Pelvic PT Essentials course to bridge the gap between the basic pelvic PT courses and how to actually implement those in the clinic. The goal is to help pelvic PTs be more confident in treating, understand their personal Ethos, and learn how to manage complex patients all the way through a plan of care.
