Welcome to Wahoo, Nebraska! The town was founded in 1870 by a group of settlers who wanted to create a farming community. The settlers were predominantly Germna, Czech, and Scandinavian. Wahoo is the county seat of Saunders County and has a population of about 4,500. The town is known in popular culture as the home office of the Top Ten List for David Letterman's Late Show. Wahoo's website doesn't provide much information about it's history, but it is definitely proud of its "Five Famous Sons." Check it out to find out about the town's Pulitzer Prize winner, Nobel Prize winner, and more. We hope you enjoy our trip to Wahoo!
