Melanie Merrill grew up in Evanston, WY in what many would call difficult circumstances. As a child her parents divorced, and her grandparents became key figures in her life. This doesn't mean Melanie's parents weren't part of her life, but
the combination of divorce, a mother who was gone a lot and shuffling between homes certainly impacted Melanie and no doubt influenced her life choices.
As Melanie talked about her life, she discussed relationships that have changed her, and challenged her as well. Life is full of ups and downs and like most people, Melanie has experienced both. But, as she talked about meeting her husband Wayne, and how happy she has been in this relationship, it's clear to see that she's in a good place.
