On more than one occasion in business classrooms at Harvard, I heard how important it is to measure the things that you want to improve. What you measure, grows. It was no surprise to me, then, to learn that LeBron James tracks his progress on everything from weightlifting to diet to flexibility and more. Like so many other elite performers, he clearly knows that he will get more of what he measures.
