Ken welcomes Sarah Dornbos, educator and Christian justice advocate and activist. She’s also the Kids Hope USA director for her church and local elementary school in the Los Angeles Unified School District. Sarah is a Calvin College grad who recently completed her M.A. in Social Justice at Kilns college (with a focus on race/class disparities in public education). She’s also a trained spiritual director, who loves to run and hike, and speak Haitian Creole. Sarah translates for Haitian migrants at the Tijuana border. Her relationships with friends in Haiti, Mexico & LA, fuel her passion for racial justice, and she has been known to get into some "Good Trouble". Ken and Sarah talk about her growing-up years as an "at risk" kid - her academic track and her work, along with Ken, at the Center for Racial Reconciliation. Sarah and her friends have just produced and released a feature-length documentary called Expedition Ayiti which will be featured in the Haiti International Film Festival this month (August 2021).
