March Madness , it's the phrase everyone that is a college basketball fan loves to hear.  It's the time to shine for a lot of college basketball teams and players as they head toward the Final 4.  For the next couple of episodes Matt is speaking with guests that had some memorable moments or performances when it was their time on the biggest stage.

For the first episode our guest is Ali Farokhmanesh, who was one of the more memorable players from the 2010 NCAA tournament.  His Northern Iowa Panthers came into the 2010 tournament as the #9 seed in the Midwest Region.  Ali shares his memories from that amazing run to the Sweet 16 starting in the first round and their game against UNLV, then upsetting the #1 overall seed Kansas as he hit "the shot" that had everyone watching the tournament talking and what it was like getting a phone call from Reggie Miller.

Ali found himself on the cover of Sports Illustrated and his team went on to win an ESPY that year as well.  He is now an assistant coach for the Colorado St. men's basketball team.  Enjoy this conversation in the Bare's Den with former University of Northern Iowa Panther - Ali Farokhmanesh.
