Disagreement part II. Last week we spoke generally about whether a meeting is for disagreement and whether it is good to speak at all. This week, we are going to provide some practical tips.
- Let’s add this other question to next meeting’s agenda
- Don’t call out an individual specifically
- Acknowledge what another person is saying
- Come from a place of curiosity, With the intention of truly learning from the other person not just from a place of disagreement
- Think about disagreeing behind the scenes either before or after a meeting
- Pass a note discretely during the meeting to leader head
- Fake it until you make it! Come From a Point of Confidence in order to have the proper approach
