Description

When Jesus’ words grew hard and “many…walked no more with Him” (John 6:66), Peter stayed and said, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.” Today’s message asks each of us to wrestle with that same question: What first brought you to Jesus—and what keeps you with Him now?

Drawing from John 6:66–69 and 2 Thessalonians 2:3, we explore how belief matures from needs-based moments (“Lord, I’m hungry—feed me”) into a steadfast, enduring trust that resists the end-time pull to fall away. Through biblical snapshots—the woman with the issue of blood, a desperate father, a man born blind, Thomas, and Peter on the water—we see the many reasons people come to Jesus…and the one reason we remain: He alone is the Truth and has the words of life.
