Coach Tim Bowens: Head Coach at Clark Atlanta University
From Florence, Alabama, Coach Bowens always loved the game of football but didn't have coaching on his radar. But as a player at the University of Alabama Coach Dabo Swinney saw something in him and planted a seed.
Coach Bowens earned his degree in human environmental science in 2000. He then started his coaching career as offensive coordinator at Coffee High School and then head coach at Tanner High School.
After a great high school coaching career he moved into the college ranks. From assistant coach at his alma mater Alabama to Samford, Alabama-Birmingham, University of South Alabama, and then Georgia State University, Coach Bowens learned and honed in his skills for his next position: Head Coach of Clark Atlanta University.
