How do we see the human side of challenges that plague our communities rather than seeing through systems and politics? We are quick to create solutions, even if they are short term - bandage effect. But, is that enough? Join this conversation with Kelli Donley Williams as we look holistically through the human side to seek long term ways that will transform lives with generational effects.

Why is it so dangerous to make public health political?

What can we all do to make our communities healthier?

Kelli Donley Williams was born and raised in Arizona. She has been an avid reader and writer since childhood, which led to studying journalism in college. After volunteering in west Africa, she returned to school to study public health. She is the author of four novels. Inspiration for her stories comes from working in the developing world in international health and her love of Arizona. Her latest project underway is a retelling of the book of Ruth from the perspective of a foster child.  Kelli is married, has several unruly terriers, a garden full of tomato plants, and more books than she can ever read. When she isn't writing, she's knitting. She continues to work in public health. She can be found online on twitter: @arizonakelli or at kellidonley.com
