Description

Never has international cooperation been needed more but in an increasingly connected world are some foreign policies becoming less connected, and are some individual nations closing in on themselves? In this episode, Baroness Catherine Ashton, former EU Foreign Affairs Minister; Brett Bruen, president, Global Situation Room and Tom Fletcher, visiting professor at New York University and former Foreign Policy Adviser explore the future of diplomacy with Suzanne Raine, affiliate lecturer at the Centre for Geopolitics at Cambridge University. Together they describe what diplomacy means to them and discuss the importance of language when diplomats and world leaders are communicating with the public.
