Inspired by Balinese culture and traditions, IBUKU always sees bamboo as an architectural material and constantly spreads its vernacular language through beautifully built structures. The studio was founded by Elora Hardy in 2010, hand have built up to 200 bamboo structures; bringing local Indonesian techniques, processes, and materials to the rest of the world to build sustainably as a way of connecting with nature.
