This week, I celebrate my mom's heavenly birthday. Although 19 years hasn't made the pain lessen, I choose to focus on the incredible good that has come from her life and her death but I didn't always feel this way. It took some years of growing my faith and understanding that God truly knows best. It's been a process maturing my relationship with God, but one well worth the journey.
