  Today Pat, Dave, and Shane talk about the intricacies of scaling a workout and why all athletes should, dependent on their goals. 
  If you are somebody that is looking to get in shape to be able to have the energy to play with your kids or grandkids and you just want a healthy lifestyle, scaling should be your everyday. 
  If you are a high level athlete you have to hit the big numbers from time to time regardless if it is weight or speed of workout.  You should be looking at once, maybe twice a week pushing yourself out of your comfort level

  If you look at it as a marathon runner, you're not going to be running a marathon every day to get ready for a marathon, You would only touch that kind of distance in training for a marathon and most likely you wouldn't even run a marathon in training. You practice the skills to get yourself there and then trust the process that you made to finish the marathon.
