"Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else." Isaiah 45:22Where is your gaze today? Are you focused on work, a promotion, maybe yourself, current events, or even family? It’s super easy to become “overcome” with situations in life when our gaze is horizontal. There’s a medical field of study that is called “optics of the heart” that allows professionals to view outside behaviors that can affect the heart organ. I think of the analogy of our spiritual heart that can easily be influenced through the biblical or the worldly views around us.
