Description

It's been a long time since I have been this nervous to record an episode, but after reading George Kelham's new book Vertical Lift I was a nervous wreck the morning of.  The book details George's entire life from growing up in Rhodesia, leaving school early to go power-lining, doing his mandatory military service, traveling the world, starting helicopter company after helicopter company, and even going back to Africa to fly for the U.N. when it was what was required to put food on the table for his young family.  I love to read and have a high standard for books and I was blown away by the story and the writing in this book and would recommend it to anyone.  I was so lucky to be able to have this conversation with such a spectacular individual and even though this conversation is amazing in itself it barely scratches the surface of the depth and vulnerability available if you order your copy of Vertical Lift off of amazon. If you aren't a reader this conversation is a great taster for what amazing stories are contained within and i'm sure you will all love this episode as much as I loved recording it.
