Today's guest was one of the first people who took me under their wing when I arrived at university. We became co-workers in my second year as we both got positions as executives of the Lister Dodgeball League. There we became a lot closer and although it usually involved a bit of frustration and yelling at each other, we were able to accomplish and learn alot together. Since then Justin has gone on to graduate with a finance degree from the UofA, transition that into a job he loves where he can flex his innate leadership abilities that drew us together so many years ago. It was so fun to catch up and to see just how far Justin has grown in the years since our paths dissected. We talk politics, leadership, growing up, seeing both sides, and getting in touch with your emotions and how that can amplify your ability to listen compassionately.
