Description

O baby this episode is going to stir some shit! Just how we like it! Today’s guest is Sam Wright, he was the president of the Lister Hall students association in the 2013-2014 school year. This was a pivotal year in the associations history as the university decided they would do anything within their power to snuff it out of existence.  This culminated in court battles, late night planning meetings, closed door conferences and more stress and heartache than any team of 18-20 year olds should ever have to endure on top of a full time academic workload. I had forgotten so many pieces of the story and it was a wonderful time to have Sam come lay it all out for us exactly as we remember it. Obviously we are going to be a little bit bias but the hope is that someone from that time would want to come on and give the university’s side of the events as they saw them, and I truly  hope that it happens. This episode will open your eyes to a lot of behind the scenes motivations that drive the world of postsecondary education and hopefully allow future young minds to go into it armed with more information than they would have otherwise! I know you will love this episode so please pass it on to anyone you know who went to the UofA and especially Lister hall! Thanks bb’s
