Finally!!! This episode was the third and final episode I was able to do on my trip to Lloydminster over a month ago. I have probably thought back to this conversation every single day since. So it is with great pleasure that I can finally share it with you all. Shaun is a father, podcaster and man of his community. Three things I find great value in and this allowed for a type of conversation yet to be seen on this podcast. With us sharing so many similarities the conversation quickly escalated from the surface topics into the depths of what truly drives us respectively. I can't speak for Shaun but the shared experiences we have been through had him seeing through so many of my boilerplate responses and pushed me to bring out things I had previously kept to myself or had not admitted altogether. That type of intimacy is what I strive for every episode but rarely does it come together like it did that Saturday night after 3 or 7 beers. I know I'm proud of every episode but that goes double for this one! and if you haven't heard Shaun's first appearance on the podcasts go back to episode #26 to check it out!
Also please check out the bikeforbreakfast initiative started by Shaun and some other brave Lloydminsterites to raise money for schools in their area! They will be biking over 1000 kms with some truly special people and it would mean the world if this podcast could help make it a success in any way we can!
Please let me know how you are enjoying Lloydminster May! Love you all!
