Getting a puppy was always something I dreamed of. As soon as I moved to Grande Prairie 4 years ago I knew a dog was going to come into the picture ASAP! Little did I know it would take another 3 and a bit years and a lot of heartbreak, but the wait was well worth it for this absolute bundle of perfection we call Ahsoka Pancakes von Wackerbarth! I had assumed my love of dogs would automatically make me a great trainer so when the first 5 weeks of training had us running with no sleep, pee all over the house, and questioning everything we had ever thought about training a dog calling us desperate might be putting it lightly. Then we met Tammy! From the very first day of training she helped us learn to speak Ahsoka's language and became an invaluable wealth of knowledge every time we ran into a new issue! Every week we would go into class thinking “I can’t believe how much we learned last time the returns have to diminish sometime right?” but every time we would be blown away at the massive leap forward in Ahsoka's training after each and every class! I knew when the training was over I would have to get Tammy on to share some of her immense knowledge and it turned out to be way more incredible than I ever could have hoped!
