They are joined in conversation today by Nicola Blatchly - Lewis who is a trained Ofsted inspector (this is just one of her roles). So we thought we would ask her the 'ins and outs' about Ofsted, and what can we all do to feel more comfortable when the inspector comes to call...Hearing the voice of the Ofsted inspector and being supported!
Here Nicky explains what it is like to be a trained Ofsted inspector and how she has trained. She talks about the privilege of coming into see early years providers and realistically talks about the feeling of 'the big bad wolf' coming to call.
We discuss the Education Inspection Framework in practice together and Nicky shares ideas of how to prepare for Ofsted in the real world of daily practice... We chat about being honest and realistic in your normal everyday practice and understanding what you think about your practice.
