Unfortunately, that passage showed up in 8th century manuscripts and not in the earlier 4th century copies. So...is there a mistake in the Bible? How old was Jehoiachin when he became king of Israel? 2 Kings says he was 18, but the parallel passage in 2 Chronicles says he was 8. What do we do with inaccuracies and possible mistakes?
