Communications Intern Geoff Exstrom sits down with now Firethorn GC Head of Instruction Steve Friesen ahead of the 113th Nebraska Amateur Championship. Geoff and Friesen dive deep into the 1998 Amateur Championship which is when Friesen won his lone Amateur title at Lochland CC breaking numerous records including lowest score (21-under) and largest margin of victory (13 strokes). Their discussion also includes Friesen's favorite moments of that championship and what he remembers about Lochland as the championship returns to the course for the first time since that 1998 title.
