In juni nam prof. dr. Roy Gerth van Wijk afscheid als hoogleraar allergologie aan het Erasmus MC. Zowel nationaal als internationaal heeft hij zich ingezet voor de allergologie als vakgebied. Voor het NTvAAKI blikt hij terug op een vruchtbare carrière en het hoofdredacteurschap van het tijdschrift.
