At this point, we’ve all been seeing what’s going on all around the U.S. and even the world with regards to the Black Lives Matter movement. So many people are angry and frustrated about what took place with George Floyd, Breona Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and all the other deaths that came before them, and the ones that continue to take place after them.
As Juneteenth approaches, we discussed the changes we would like to see implemented within our government and society in general. We also talk about the importance of continuing to take action towards equal right even after the protests fade away. Voting was highly emphasized as a major key to achieving progress.
