How to be happy

  1. Practice trusting yourself, setting goals and following through
    When you say you want to go horseback riding, do research and make a plan. Same goes for scheduling the oil change, starting the LLC and going on the date, trust yourself to follow through, name it, and take the steps to create it.
  2. Worry about yourself rather than being hyper-focused on what people think about you
    We mean well when we go to think about how other's might perceive us. Whether we are seeking to ensure everyone's comfort or respecting mom and dad's wishes, the desire to be seen, loved and celebrated for being exactly who we are is inherent and is the work of our brain trying to protect us. How do you feel about you??
  3. Remember that everyone's life is 50/50
    From Nandi Camille to J.Lo, everyone experiences both joy and sadness
  4. Remember that there is NO SUCH THING as being happy all of the time
    Life is meant to be full of emotions. Take it one day at a time and allow your emotions to pass through you.
