Lovely Davilmar, BSHP talked about her story of optimizing her high school and undergraduate career to secure the public health opportunities she received. Lovely a first-generation Haitian-American speaks about the benefit of Boys and Girls Club in setting up her mindset to make college affordable and forming a sustainable life plan. She was able to leverage her college experience with scholarships and using her high school charter program to get university classes under belt to help her enter her undergraduate at UCF as a Sophomore credit-wise. She speaks of the importance of having and using mentors and various support systems to get the most out of your university and early career life. Lovely is a young professional destined to do great things in her career and has useful tips to help you get the most out of your university and early career.
