Description

Join your Juggernaut hosts Stephenie Flood and Anthony James for an uplifting and informative conversation with Angela Hassell, Executive Director of Sacramento Loaves and Fishes.

Described an "oasis for adults and children experiencing homelessness," Loaves and Fishes provides sixteen different programs including Mustard Seed School, Maryhouse, Friendship Park, and a long-term overnight shelter, to name a few. Their journey to serving meals to nearly 1,000 people every day, began in 1983, serving sandwiches from the trunk of a car.

We're reminded, especially during the holidays, of those who need our support as we seek new and more impactful ways to give back, with gratitude, to support and remain advocates for our fellow humans in need.

Many Loaves and Fishes programs and services are run in collaboration with staff and volunteers to strengthen the connection between their guests and the community at large. For more information on program hours and services, contact info@sacloaves.org.
