Dan's Bio:  I just fell in love with direct sales. I did that, on the day I was deciding not to be in sales anymore. I realized that it wasn't sales I wasn't succeeding at, I just really didn't know what I was doing. After listening to that tape, I decided to make a commitment to master how to properly help families. Learning to understand that sales wasn't pushing anything, it was truly being of service to another individual. I’ve worked in a couple different industries. I worked in the electronic commercial sign business, I was a recruiter and a national trainer. I held their national sales record for many years. Eleven years ago I decided that I didn't like the industry because it was becoming a challenge and it stopped being fun. A friend of mine told me about the insurance business so I decided to get my license and work part time. Within the first few months I was hooked, I really loved the idea of being of service vs selling to the business owner and I felt like I was really helping them protect their family. I'm very much a family person, It's very important to me. I feel like the records that I have broken, awards that I have won, are because I fell in love with helping the clients. I was able to develop a sales presentation that I personally wrote and put together and it was approved by a large annuity company by the name of American Equity, by the VP of sales who blessed it to be compliant and it became the standard for that company. We were able to take and apply that sales knowledge and sales background into the work of our hands today which is training developing agents to serve families.
