Episode #25: He is known as the Godfather, Stinger or simply Wooz. He has influenced and shaped a large part of the financial services world, even though he would never tell you that. Phil Woolsey is one of the kindest, funniest and smartest people you will ever encounter. He is humble in life as he is in this interview but I did get the chance to pull out some of his accomplishments over his amazing 30 year career. With 29 years in Financial Services, Phil Woolsey started his career in Orange County and after 2 years, moved to the Bay Area and opened his own office specializing in Mortgage Protection Life Insurance and Annuities. He was able to build the organization to 5 locations in the Western United States with great partnerships and leaders. He joined Appreciation Financial 6 years ago and entered into the Public Employee and Teacher retirement market. Phil has been fortunate to have great colleagues and agents to partner with during his career.
Phil has been married to his beautiful wife Miegen for 30 years and they have 3 children, Taylor, Kendyll and Noah.
