It seems like the alternative to all the arguing, character attacks, protesting, and instant self-gratification we see in our culture as believers in Christ is to shut it down, go into hiding and batten down the hatches until Jesus returns.
That I believe is the wrong approach.
The Bible offers us an alternative way to live and it is found in 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12. In these two verse Christians can find a noble way to live their life and still share the mission and message of the Kingdom of Heaven.
