We've gone off the deep end a few minutes into the episode before, but this time Eric and Daniel set a record for driving right into the lake, and this time there's no good samaritan fisherman to bail them out. They don't like anything. Eric begs for some dramatic irony. Daniel points out a certain character is squatting. They are mentally, spiritually, and physically drained and realize just how much they underestimated what this show would do to them.
