Michael Barnhart
Michael is a co-founder of Adventurous Real Estate Investors. He is head of acquisitions where he specializes in strategically targeting core-plus and value-add multifamily commercial real estate investment opportunities to offer lucrative returns to their investors through the implementation of a business model that provides value to both residents and the local community. Currently, Michael is a PhD student in biochemistry at the University of Cambridge, located in the United Kingdom. Upon completion of his PhD, he will return to the U.S. Air Force Academy as an Assistant Professor of Biology and will finish out his military career there before transitioning to real estate investing full-time. In addition to his passion for commercial real estate, Michael is a U.S. Air Force Officer with over 15 years of military experience. He is a professionally trained and certified Program Manager and has overseen the successful acquisition, implementation, and disposition of over $100M in defense systems. Another passion of Michael’s is teaching, whether in the classroom as a biology professor or as a mentor, he lives to give back to students, colleagues, and friends.

Suzy Sevier
Suzy is an aspiring real estate investor currently living in Cambridge, England. She is currently working for a large biotechnology company as a supply chain coordinator and program manager. She graduated from the University of Denver with an MBA and a concentration in Marketing, and is currently studying for the Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate. Suzy and Michael, her business and life partner, started Adventurous Real Estate Investors and are currently putting in the work to take down their first apartment syndication.
